About Us
We are delighted to welcome you and your family to Queens Pre-School Day Nursery and Queens Baby Nursery.
Our Nurseries for children from 3 months to five years, provides a safe, caring, stimulating and happy environment for your child at the most receptive stage of development. Our wealth of enjoyable learning activities enable children to learn and develop and fulfil their potential in a safe, loving and caring environment.
Our team of highly experienced staff, have been carefully selected for their genuine love of children and always undergo thorough Police and Ofsted checks.
Queens Pre-School Day Nursery and Baby Nursery is inspected and approved by Ofsted. Social Services, Environmental Health Department and Essex Fire Department. We are a member of the National Private Nurseries Association, Essex Day Nurseries Association and the Federation of Small Businesses. Queens Pre-School Day Nursery and Queens Baby Nursery is owned by a fully qualified ex Headteacher with twenty five years experience of teaching, who is a parent of three children.
We are open from 8.00 a.m. until 6.00p.m. fifty one weeks of the year, providing parents with total flexibility of care and learning for their children. Entry and exit from the Nursery is carefully monitored and the premises are safe and secure. The Baby Nursery has a comprehensive video entry phone system.
We understand that leaving your baby in a Nursery can be an emotional time, and thus offer an individualised ‘settling in’ period. We believe that by spending some time together in the Nursery your baby will make a smooth transition to Nursery care.
Queens Baby Nursery and Queens Pre-School Day Nursery are private nurseries. We operate the Working Family Tax Credits Scheme for eligible parents, Childcare Vouchers and Nursery Education Grants for 3 and 4 year olds.
This year Queens Pre School Day Nursery is celebrating it’s twelfth birthday and Queens Baby Nursery is celebrating it’s seventh birthday.
